NC Depot Jacket

Welcome to North State Haberdashery, purveyors of clothing for the soldier. We started in 1997, raising funds for the North Carolina Monument at South Mountain Maryland   In 2003, we dedicated the monument  after raising over $75,000.00. We decided to stay in the sutlery business and went from non-profit to for-profit. Myself (Rex D Hovey) and my wife , Bonnie, operate the Haberdashery and take pride in providing true and correct emulation of the 1860’s period.  We are founding members of the 13th NC, Co B (www.13thnc.com) and still reenact on a regular basis with the 13th NC Field Hospital.

Please take your time and browse our new site where you'll find everything you need for the serious Civil War Reenactor or history buff. Some of the many Civil War Reenacor items we carry include: North Carolina Depot and Shell Jackets, homespun shirts, jeans cloth trousers, Richmond Depot Jackets, Military Vests, Kepis, Forage Caps, Boater's Hats, Period Flags including the NC Republic Flag, First National Flag, the Bonnie Blue Flag, Battle Flags, Brogans, Canteens, Suspenders, Ponchos and Ground Cloths, Squirrel Cookers, and numerous Civil War Accessories for the young and old.
